Holy cow!
We just crossed the $9k mark, well on our way to $12.7k, and it hasn't even been a full week yet! Who wants to be the backer to get us to $10,000?!?
Thank you all so incredibly much for your faith and support. If you're excited to see this project hit all its goals and you haven't yet done so, please tell all your friends to check it out! The faster we hit funding, the faster we can get all those awesome stretch goals unlocked!
Also, at the request of fantastic *Day 1 backer Mark Powell*, I reached out to my manufacturer/distributor and I can now offer SIGNED DECKS as an add-on! Samedi base decks will be in gold ink on the tuck (or your card of choice!), but the real coup de grâce is the Spirit Realm decks... which will be signed in a ghostly invisible, UV reactive ink! This stuff is super cool! Again, thanks for the awesome idea, Mark!
To add a signed deck as an add-on, just up your pledge by +$5 US/+$8 Int'l per deck and send me a message with the number of signed decks you want! (This is simply to cover the additional charge of shipping from the factory to me to sign and then on to the distributor, which was the previous hold-up). I will be updating the add-on reference image soon with this but you may go ahead and modify your pledges now if you'd like them signed!

Samedi Update #1!

Heya backers!
We're more than halfway there - 62%!! Let's keep this going!
As some of you know, Baron Samedi means "Baron Saturday" in the original French. To celebrate The Day of the Baron, each Samedi of the campaign I will be posting cool behind-the-scenes info and development tidbits. Making this project has been a blast and I'm excited to share the process with you! If you're curious about something, just ask!
For the first behind-the-scenes post, I wanted to show some of the raw footage from the announcement video :). I covered it up with classy music for the final, but I was helped during filming by my wonderful wife and two young kids who you can hear in the clip. Also I was using open flame, operating a camera, and working in the dark. So, you know, all things that go smoothly and don't cause any complications. You can see from the video below that I had plenty of help!
The video also included some craft store props, including black candles, feathers, and a perfect 4" skull with miniature top hat which my 3 year old named Rolf.
In future updates, I can show development sketches, alternate color schemes, and other cool stuff!
